DESCRIPTION
Setupad is a scale-up with offices in Riga, Vilnius, and Madrid, with hundreds of websites, mainly in Europe and globally. Our platform supports news publishers, classified portals, utility tool websites, blogs, and various other businesses that draw substantial international audiences.
We’re looking for a Growth Content Manager to own Setupad’s content engine and drive product signups (inbound leads). You’ll create and optimize high-impact content, run data-driven strategies, and distribute across search, social, and email. You’ll collaborate with our in-house developer for website updates and manage outsourced designers, writers, and specialists to maximize results. This role is perfect for a growth-minded, independent marketer who turns ideas into measurable business impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute a content strategy that drives lead generation, brand authority, and thought leadership in ad tech.
- Plan and manage the editorial calendar, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality, search and generative engine (AI) optimized content.
- Create content that ranks in search engines, attracts digital publishers, and is optimized for conversion through clear calls-to-action and ongoing CRO improvements.
- Write and edit blog posts, case studies, landing pages, industry reports, and website content focused on programmatic advertising.
- Plan and execute content distribution across relevant channels (LinkedIn, email marketing, partnerships) to amplify reach and engagement beyond organic search.
- Collaborate with our in-house developer for website updates and implementation while managing outsourced designers, writers, and other specialists to produce visually engaging and technically sound content.
- Optimize website pages for SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), A/B test key elements such as headlines, CTAs, and layouts, and improve overall user experience.
REQUIREMENTS
- Data-driven mindset with a focus on lead generation, growth, and performance measurement.
- 2+ years of experience in content marketing, growth content, copywriting, or editorial roles, preferably in ad tech, digital advertising, SaaS, or B2B marketing.
- Excellent English writing and editing skills, with the ability to explain complex ad tech topics in a clear, engaging, and conversion-focused way.
- Strong SEO and growth marketing knowledge, including content optimization, keyword research, and understanding of organic traffic growth strategies.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, basic website management, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms (e.g., GA4).
- Experience with content promotion, A/B testing, and applying CRO principles to improve signup and lead conversion rates.
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects, coordinate outsourced resources, and execute content initiatives end-to-end.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international startup environment, with a focus on scaling results.
